To ensure the Delio team remain close as the company grows, our internal newsletter sheds some light of two of our team members each month. This month we found out a little more about Bhumi and Matthew and thought we’d share it with you so you can get to know the team too.
“I joined the team at Delio in September last year, having come from Cardiff University, and would say that my proudest moment here is organising the DelioConnect Launch. People would be surprised to know that I used to work in Subway as a Sandwich Artist – yes that really is a thing!
I have many talents, including playing a Harmonium, an Indian instrument; I can also Bollywood dance and can also touch my tongue to my nose!
If anyone asked me what my favourite movie line was, it would have to be from Shrek – “That’ll do Donkey, that’ll do”!
“I joined Delio in August 2017, having worked previously at Sapiens. The most random job I’ve ever had was as a butcher! Working at Delio has been the most exciting job I’ve ever had!
People would be surprised to know that I used to live in Sweden – I love to travel and my favourite destination is Scandinavia, or anywhere where I can snowboard!
Favourite food is Italian or pasta! My favourite film quote is: “The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club”
We’d also like to introduce our new starters this month, Hannah and Gareth.
“I previously worked for Sorenson Media, a US tech company in Cardiff city centre as the Finance & Office Manager. I worked there for 18 months, and previous to that, I worked for a removal company for 12 years – in the office as a Customer Service Manager, not lifting boxes & furniture! I’m originally from beautiful Pembrokeshire, although I’ve lived in Cardiff since Uni. I love to travel and I’m always looking for new places to visit! People would be surprised if they knew I had a lot of tattoos, I’m fluent in Welsh, and have a phobia of flying!”
“I’m from Cardiff. Been testing for about 10 years now. Previously worked for a safeguarding company up in Talbot Green. Before that I worked for a lettings/estate agent management software company that was actually based here. So, I know far more about the lettings industry than I ever wanted to! I play football every week and enjoy most outdoor activities. I've completed a few different charity events with Pinnacle letting agents. Including riding from North Wales to South Wales with an inflatable boob strapped to my back!”
